Jo Jo

I knew a blog nickname would come to me when I saw her. She is the spitting image of my Nepali niece, and so I’ve given her a name that is similar to my niece’s name. “Jo Jo” is one month old, I’m guessing about 8 pounds. Smaller than chunky little Moose was when I got him! She’s got a full head of hair and seems pretty easygoing so far.

I think both my mom and I are in love!

Whether she leaves tomorrow or next month or next year or never, I feel like somehow she is just a blessing from Avalon. Thank you precious daughter. My love for you lives on, and I will be a better, more loving mother to all of my children because you were mine.
