Agency called. One month old girl, probably bi-racial, born positive for coke and marijuana. Possibly being removed today.

I could have a baby by this evening, guys.

My mind is racing. I saw the agency on my caller ID and had sit down to catch my breath. Of course, this is foster care. The petition might be denied. Or put off until tomorrow. Or a relative may be found for emergency placement.

But holy shit. A baby girl!
