Jo Jo’ is listed with TWO different last names on my documents. Official “foster care card” lists her under one name, pediatrician lists her under another name, of course. This happened with Moose! Let the craziness of tracking down official birth certificates and transferring names begin!
. My case worker has touched base with me, but I went ahead and called her pediatrician’s office on my own. I knew it was the same one that Moose went to (that’s what CPS told me) so I figured I’d cut out the middle man. Got her an appointment in 7 days (it needed to be within 10 days). She seems pretty healthy except for a raging case of baby mastitis. I can’t find much info on it, but it looks like she may need antibiotics. So the appointment could be moved up.
To Do: Make her foster care folder, schedule WIC, schedule Early On, go to store for newborn size 0 diapers, liquid fence (for the gardener), and sensitive tummy/gas formula.
