justifiably confusing

My big niecey-poo is five. She remembers well that I had a baby girl in my belly, but never understood that the baby was gone. When I saw her a few months after losing Avalon, she immediately told the little friends she was playing with that I was going to have a baby. She just figured that having a baby was something that didn’t go away, and that given enough time, I was going to have one.

Today was the first time she met Jo Jo. It makes total sense in her mind that I now have a baby girl. To be honest, it does make a weird kind of sense, even though it makes no sense at all.
