walk around the lake

In an effort to lose a bit of extra tummy, and of course get into better shape, I’ve re-instated the daily power walk around the lake. It’s 2.6 miles of pure loveliness, gently rolling hills, and peaceful countryside. My mother and grandmother always pushed me around the lake in a stroller, every spring, summer, and fall of my childhood. Now I am carrying on the tradition. Needless to say I felt better after my walk, my head felt clearer, I felt at peace with myself and my life. That’s why I love where I live… it never fails to soothe me, inspire me, and bring me the comfort that only “home” can bring.

  1. Your neighborhood is beautiful! And the picture of the two of you together at the end is lovely.
