the grocery store with four

I took my relatives’ son and two grandsons with Jo Jo and I to the grocery store today. I was fantasizing that I was the ultimate foster mom, with a 4-month-old Jo Jo, and a 7, 10, and 12-year-old! It was a great game to pretend, since these boys were all so well-behaved. The 12 year old was particularly good with the baby, and could be overheard saying to her, “are you going to be my cousin soon, baby? Yeah, you’re going to be my cousin!”

Of course, I feel like I’m way too young to have a 12 year old! I guess it is possible, though…

Am I crazy taking all these kids shopping on my own?

Oh, and lest you think I’m so very brave, here is the one boy I didn’t take with us (Jo Jo perched precariously behind him because he “didn’t want to sit with the baby” anymore):

This 3-year-old could run circles around the other 4 put together!
