A great side effect of caseworker visits is that my house gets really clean. I actually need these visits to really motivate me, once a month, to get the house somewhat put back together!
Today’s home visit doubled as a “family team meeting”. I guess that tells you who all is involved in this case. Excepting the judge and CPS, we were all present. There is no news. If there was news, I couldn’t say what it was, but there’s not. We will miss the next scheduled court date while we’re on vacation, but I’m not worried. Everyone on the case is on the same page, so we just need an actual hearing to move forward.
Also, I am going to be jumping through all the hoops to update my foster care license to also be a license to adopt!
We had an uneventful day at home, so I took my active, outgoing baby to the grocery store in the Ergo. We love the Ergo, the way we loved the Moby four months ago. It is so comfortable, and she is totally content the entire time she’s in it. Thanks for all of the recommendations you all made! (For the record, I went straight for the Ergo and didn’t try the Moby Go or any other carrier, I figured if this many people love it, it can’t be all that bad.)

Yes! I did the same thing – moby for the first few months, and then Ergo all the way. They were both perfect for the stages I (and you) used them for!
