I spent the whole day with my girl and it was wonderful. We took my grandma to the hospital for a procedure, and we ended up out of the house for seven hours. My baby wins the BEST BABY EVER award. She never fussed, or cried, or screamed. She napped twice in the Ergo. Speaking of Ergos, I carried her in it all day and my nurse’s back did not ache once. She was so comfortable in it that she even took two naps!

Jo Jo played with her great-granny for a half hour while I got her some groceries and picked up my grandpa’s 82nd birthday cake. Then we came home to go swimming in the lake and hang out with the neighbors. Her “Ga-Ga” (my mom) put her to bed while I phone interviewed some candidates for home care. My grandparents are needing almost constant help to live at home, so we are hiring one or two more people to fill in the gaps and add to the help we already have.

The ability to pee and not wake the baby is one of the benefits of babywearing.
