Noted the following:
-Yes, during one flight I was the mom with THAT BABY, and I had to walk up and down the aisle with the Ergo the good part of an hour in a hot, stuffy, stinky cabin, which leads me to my next note…
-People are amazingly nice, from schlepping luggage to telling me they weren’t bothered when my baby started melting down, the offers to help were endless, from every type of person imaginable.
-Maybe paying an extra 100 bucks for ONE direct flight is worth it with a baby… she handled flight #1 like a champ, then again she had her own seat and she can’t fall asleep in my lap, only in her own seat lying flat. So maybe I need to purchase her a whole seat next time?
-It is good to find another single mom with a baby… not just because misery loves company, but because you can take turns going to the airplane bathroom baby free!
And most importantly:
-My little girl is so much FUN to be around. I fall more in love with her personality by the minute, and I’m blown away by how much fun this adventure is with her as my sidekick. It’s tiring, and it’s work… but god, do I love it.
