while we were gone

…there was court. Miracles of miracles, the first hearing was held and not rescheduled. We have another court date soon to evaluate permanency goals.

Praying for TPR.*

*I always advocate for the birth parents when they are involved or working with services towards re-unification. If you don’t believe me, read about my first foster son, Moose. This case is just different, and it’s been no secret to anyone that this child is on an adoption track.

      1. That’s great! I have a friend who has been in the foster-adopt game for over three years. The judge is the road block, going against the laws in place, and reunification is definitely not happening. When she finally gets to adopt them, none of us will believe it. Someday I’d like to adopt but it’s a ways off.
