I was at a foster care training at 7pm, so I thought I’d light my candle later. But alas, I couldn’t find a candle. After the walk to remember, the pregnant patient, and some very emotional days thinking of my gone baby before that, I need some sand to temporarily stick my head into.
The day started with my donor texting me, passing on good thoughts on International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day. And so I end my day in the same way, passing on my warmest thoughts to the other baby loss moms I know, in real life and on the internet.
May peace find its way into our hearts, even as we mourn forever.
We remembered Avalon tonight, when we lit our candle. 🙂
Holding you and Avalon in my heart today.
Have you heard of the new book “Sunshine After the Storm: A Survival Guide for the Grieving Mother”? A few bloggers contributed to it, it’s supposed to be really helpful for long term grieving.
Thank you and sending peace, hope and hugs right back to you. xo
