I’ve had some not-so-stellar moods during the remodeling of my house. Every single room was affected, as the non-remodeled rooms filled up with junk from the rest of the house. The worst part was the dust. First it was cutting the flooring, then the new wall that was built had to be mudded and sanded. Despite hanging sheets around the work area and covering all the furniture, dust got everywhere, into everything. Every evening I would clean it all up, and then it would happen all over the next day. It was so disheartening to walk through the door at the end of every day and see how much work I needed to do just so we could breathe properly. Add to that a screaming, clingy toddler and there were more than a few moments when I thought might lose my cool.
Now, thankfully, we are all done with cutting and sanding. I am SO READY to have the workers out of my house, and for them to stop moving everything around and making messes (they try to clean up, but I am just, you know, anal). And what does my mom do? Hires them to paint! Now, we do need all the rooms repainted, but oh my god! I can’t stand the thought of more work being done in the house again!

That looks great! Love that your piano is the focus!
