feeling like such a responsible adult

And the reason is that I just set up M’s education savings plan through my state. I hope I did it right. I also have her application and photos for her passport. We aren’t planning on going anywhere, but I still think it’s important to have, for some reason. To do all of this, I needed her social security number, and her card finally came in the mail last week! As a former foster mom, it’s quite a good feeling to have access to these things!

I also followed the suggestion of bythebrooke and susbscribed to Chatbooks (google it, or look for it in your app store). I’m so relieved that I will get a photo book automatically (from my instagram pics) and it’s so affordable! Saving pics, uploading them, and ordering them is not only so time-consuming, it’s expensive. And I have so many pics to choose from, it gets overwhelming. This has turned out to be by far the best solution. Thanks Brooke! (Nope, I’m not receiving any money for advertising them. I haven’t even received my first book yet… if it disappoints, I’ll let you know.)

Now… my toddler is in the other room and it’s suspiciously quiet. I am afraid to go out there and see what’s happening and how big a mess it will be to clean up.

Oh my. She couldn’t previously reach that drawer before…
