I just want to thank everyone for your comments and reassurance. Despite my (pretty normal) frustration, I am super proud of my kiddo. She’s not even two yet, and she can hold it, have almost no accidents at home, plus she is just willing to keep trying and trying all day. Her ability to just go with it, give it her best shot, no matter how many times it takes her… wow, that just amazes me and makes get all teary with pride. She doesn’t give up. She has a good attitude about it every time. She’ll go four or five times in an hour, always enthusiastic to see if she can do it.
So we are headed out of town tomorrow, pull-ups on board, and we’ll go with the floor. She may not have been finished in three days, but she impressed us all with a good start!
