And fairly quickly, too! I sent out a mass email following the blog post to every mom I knew in my area asking for a place or person to recommend for childcare. I got a response from someone in the organic food co-op whose daughter is in M’s class. We basically agree on parenting style, diet, and politics, so it’ll give me great peace of mind that she’s receiving nutritious meals (and not being spanked or whatnot). The fact that she can get M directly from school (with her own daughter) is the best part! That means my mom only has to go get her after dinner, bring her home, bathe her, read to her or spend a little time together, and put her to bed! Win!!!
