buckling down

Just cancelled netflix and audible.com subscriptions. I no longer have any subscriptions. We can do without.

Also just ordered Google Fi for phone service. It will pay for the cancellation fee at sprint in less than 3 months just by saving me so much per month. Also, the ability to call and text without extra charge in other countries, including Nepal.

And I’m currently shopping for a better deal on car insurance.

Let’s do this.

  1. Good Luck! Pinching pennies is never easy but always helpful. Have you considered ditching internet service at home and just using to spots available at the library, starbucks, mcdonalds, etc? I know a bunch of people that have saved a ton by cutting that cable line all together.

    1. that would work IF I lived anywhere close to mcdonald’s, libraries, etc… but I live at least a half hour from any wifi and I’m using wifi for everything now, including phone service, which I need for emergency purposes.
