I gave notice to my boss that my last week at this job will be the week before Christmas. I have two recruiters from two different agencies that both are extremely helpful and come highly recommended. They are going to submit me for jobs with January 1st start dates!
My manager has already given my recruiters a great reference for me, and offered me a temp or per diem position when I return to Michigan in the summers! What a relief, knowing I (probably) have a job when it’s time to come to home, and a job in a place I’m comfortable!
The only official notice to give now is to M’s school… which is probably the hardest because I love her Montessori class so much.
So yeah… we’re doing it! I’m going off the grid and starting an unconventional life. Hopefully it opens the door to many wonderful opportunities!
