I sent M to school. She wanted to go and it was the best thing for both of us, I think. We needed a break from one another. The silence was golden. I talked to recruiters, made coffee, cleaned a bit, showered… very nice. I think my spirit is making its way back to my body… it takes a while when our bodies move through space so fast.
I have my California nurse’s license! It’s likely that that’s where I’ll be going. I have Hawaii as well, but honestly I want to make some money so I’m off to California, pretty sure. The recruiters are actively looking for me as of today. In a few weeks I might have a job lined up! The mountains, the ocean, the redwoods… they might ease my soul until I have the money to get back to Nepal.
So I’m feeling better now, the house is getting cleaner, and I’m off to pick up my kid and take her to swimming class. Life as usual.
