Jo Jo has thrush. It was just a small white patch on her lower lip but now it has progressed to both lips, gums, and tongue. She seems unbothered by it, thankfully, but we are going to the doctor tomorrow morning anyway. Dr. Google already told me that it’s common in infants under 6 months, whose immune systems are not fully developed. Other possibilities: unclean bottle nipples or pacifiers. Cue mommy guilt. The bottle sterilizer is going to be getting more use than usual from now on.
Nystatin swish’n’swallow, all around.
Oh no! I hope it disappears quickly!
Cutest little baby lips! Sorry about the thrush- my daughter had that once after antibiotics.
